Mixed bag…

I’ve been mostly out of the loop this week, working on a show called Christian Artist Talent Search (CATS) for INSP. It’s a show I’ve been on since the beginning six years ago. Crazy that it’s lasted so long! The shoot went well over all. It’s always kind of a stressful week and this was no exception. However, there was some really good talent and it’s always fun working with the Charlotte crew. One of my favorite artists was a band called West Finley. You can check out some music at their MySpace page. My favorite song is “Change.”

In the very few moments of free time I had this week, I found a glowing review for the new Harry Potter novel. I can’t wait to read it and can’t believe I left it off my summer reading list. Speaking of Harry Potter, I wonder what would happen if he, Ron, and Hermione tried their hand at social justice…

One more Harry Potter bit…Paul and I saw the new Harry Potter movie (Order of the Phoenix) last weekend and I absolutely loved it. Order of the Phoenix is probably my favorite book and this was my third favorite movie (after Prisoner of Azkaban and Sorcerer’s Stone). Good stuff if you’re into that kind of thing. :)
