Love all. Serve all.

Summer break…

So, it’s been a while since I posted anything of much substance here and that’s not really going to change with this post. I have a glimmer of encouragement working it’s way up to full-blown inspiration for a writing project, but I don’t know that the ol’ blog here is the best outlet. Since I’m mostly ruminating and processing more than actually coming up with many answers (or even solidified questions, to be honest), I’m going to take a break for the summer.

Have no worries, I’m not giving up on the blog all together, I just need a little time away. Sometimes I get wrapped up in feeling something like an obligation to write and, somehow, I think that’s missing the point.

So have a wonderful summer, everyone. See you in the Fall.

Peace. Out.

PS – Even though I’m not blogging, I am Twittering, so feel free to check in when you have a free moment. : )

LOL…Ha Ha!

Here’s a prime example of someone taking something that is not humorous at all and inadvertently making it hilarious! I can’t get enough of this newscaster reading these text messages. With all respect to the parties involved, this is just too funny not to share…

Peace. Out.

She’s just being Miley…

I’ve actually used some of the exact phrasing included in this essay in regards to my personal feelings about Miley-Gate ‘08, so I’m just going to link to it, and give a general shout-out to my girls at Go Fug Yourself (maybe my all-time favorite website). Regular 15-year-old girls are having a tough time figuring out when the appropriate time to stop being a kid and start being an adult is, so I can’t even imagine what it’s like for someone living smack-dab in the middle of Young Hollywood.

And just for good measure…

Peace. Out
