So, yeah…
…I’m going to keep blogging about Battlestar Galactica, even if no one else is interested. This is a great record of information for me!
Two great articles I found today:
- A lengthy interview with series creator Ron Moore that includes some spoilery info.
- A detailed recap of the series in general, plus each individual season. Also includes an introduction to key characters and terminology.
I’m doing my best to get you guys to watch this show! It’s amazing and I’m so excited for Friday night. Can you tell?
Peace. Out.
Because you can always use a good laugh…
I was talking to some friends last night and the subject of conversation turned – as it often does these days – to our favorite YouTube clips. I’m a little intimidated by the sheer volume of media on YouTube, so the best way for me to hear about the funniest stuff is from friends. I thought I’d share my personal favorites here and hope you do the same!
Peace. Out.
TWoP…
For reasons unknown, even to myself, I’ve been out of the Television Without Pity loop for a while. I don’t know exactly when I stopped reading the recaps on the site, but after a check-in today (nice layout upgrades!), I realized how much I’ve missed it. Even if you regularly watch the shows they recap, the recaplets, especially, are still fun to read. It’s nice to get someone else’s perspective, see if they’re excited/upset about the same things you are, and read the nicknames they give to people/things. Today’s visit to the Heroes recaplet was worth it just to read the phrase “The Haitian Sensation.” Love it.
I’ve also added the link to my blogroll, so check it out when you can.
Peace. Out.
Vanity Fair – October 2007…
Vanity Fair is regularly one of my favorite magazines to read. It’s a good blend of serious and humorous, philosophical and petty. The current issue might be my all-time favorite, though. Check out my favorite pieces online:
* In-depth interview with Stephen Colbert where he reveals the process of changing the pronunciation of his last name.
* James Wolcott’s hilarious suggestion for Prez TV.
* And, finally, ways to reduce, not your ecological footprint, but your footprint of another kind. This piece made me laugh out loud while waiting to board my flight this morning.
Peace. Out.
Mmmmaybe…
MySpace TV is producing an original series this year called Quarterlife.
My first question is: how relevant is a show that refers to “the Net”?
Peace. Out.
